Meet the Team – Michael Obranavich

A true Texan, Michael Obranavich is a good guy with an awesome talent. A potter since 1973, Michael’s glazes are made with ashes from burnt grapevine cuttings from Napa Valley Kayli Morgan and Ark vineyards of Hundred Acre Winery. His pieces are a staple for the One True Vine team members and have been used for literally hundreds of meals and celebrations. We’re happy to have Michael as part of the fabric of the team, that’s why we call him OBwan.

If you could have one super power, what would it be?

My super power would be to put a calm over the whole world of craziness.

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and could eat only three meals until you the day you die, what would they be?

My three meals…

Escargot in marinara sauce made with bone marrow… Put in the marrow bones and baked in a wood oven over gnocchi

Ceviche made with yellow fin tuna

Chicken enchiladas with green chile
